What is FlashGameLicense.com all about?
FlashGameLicense.com is a broker of Flash games. Game developers use the site to showcase their games; game sponsors can check out the games and make offers to buy or license any games that fit their needs.
How exactly does this work?
It's easy. A developer uploads a game and fills out some simple information about that game, like the description, genre, and percent complete. The developer also indicates what kind of deals they may be interested in - everything from selling the full source code and IP to in-game ads and revenue sharing.
Next, a sponsor views the game. Sponsors can browse all the games in the database, or search for exactly what they need by genre or licensing type. Sponsors can even play the completed games so they know exactly what they are getting. When a sponsor finds a game that fits their needs, they can contact the developer with an offer. The type of offer will depend on the kinds of deals that the developer indicated they were interested in, of course, but may be a bid or a flat fee. Developers and sponsors can then negotiate for the best deal that meets everyone's needs.

We are a couple of Flash game developers who wanted to help enrich and grow the Flash game community. We are also responsible for Flash Game Sponsorship and Flash Game Blogs. You can learn a bit more about us on the About page.

What can FlashGameLicense.com do for me?
First and foremost, we give you an easy and effective way to put your game in front of 279 Flash game sponsors -- sponsors who are actively looking for games! Finding a buyer for all your hard work just doesn't get easier than that.
Secondly, we help you connect with the Flash game development community. You can view and play games that other developers have chosen to share, and offer them your feedback on their efforts. If you choose to, you can solicit feedback from other developers for your own games.
Can other developers see my games?
Not if you don't want them to! By default, only authorized sponsors can see your games. If, however, you'd like more feedback from a wider audience, you have the option to allow other developers to view your games. We've found that feedback from sponsors and other developers alike can really be beneficial in the final polishing stages.
(Note that even if you allow other developers to view your games, they cannot not see any information about bids or licensing deals. That's just between you and the sponsors!)What do I give up to use this site?
Nothing! As the developer you retain all rights, title, and interest in any games uploaded to this site (assuming you owned them in the first place). You can remove a game at any time. The only thing we ask in return is a small commission on any deals you make here, paid either by you or by the sponsor.
How do I sign up as a developer?
Signing up as a developer is very easy. Just head over to the developer sign-up page and create an account. Once you do, you can upload your games for sponsors to buy and bid on!

What can FlashGameLicense.com do for me?
First and foremost, we give you access to a library of 787 Flash games -- many of them 100% complete and ready for use! We make it easy to find the games you need: our library is fully searchable and new games are uploaded daily.
What do I give up to use this site?
Nothing! Our job is to help you connect with developers, not to get in your way. You retain full control over the licensing or purchase deals that you make. The only thing we ask in return is a small commission on any deals you make here.
I need a game in a hurry. Can you help?
One of our most popular services is the "No-Hassle Game Shop". Games listed in this area have well-defined licensing options available for a flat fee. For example, you may pay a small amount for a branded, site-locked version of the game, slightly more for a version with no external links, and so forth. How do I sign up as a sponsor?
Signing up as a sponsor is quick and easy. Just head over to the sponsor sign-up page and create an account. Please make certain to identify your company and website clearly: for the security of our developers, we request that sponsors are associated with a Flash game site in good standing that has been in business for at least six months. If you represent a newer site, we'll be happy to accept a small escrow until we can get to know you better.
We will contact you as quickly as possible after you create your account, and once you are approved you'll have our extensive library of Flash games and developers at your fingertips!
But I'm a developer *and* a sponsor!
No problem! Sponsor and developer accounts have slightly different functionality to better meet the needs of each group. So your best bet if you are both a developer and a sponsor of Flash games is to create two accounts -- one as a developer and one as a sponsor. Once both accounts created, you can easily link them together so that you can seamlessly experience all the functionality FlashGameLicense.com has to offer.
